Staff Accountant (Full time/Part time)

Qualification and skills:

1. Require bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field and must fulfilled units requirement for CA CPA exam.
2. Strong understanding of accounting principles general accepted in the United States.
3. Solid analytical, organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
7. Public accounting experience is a plus.
8. Bilingual in Japanese is highly preferable.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review and analyze financial statements.
2. Prepare and review individual, partnership, LLC, C-corporation, and S-corporation income tax returns.
3. Prepare payroll tax, sales/use tax, business tax and property tax.
4. Heavy Correspondence with clients and federal and state tax authorities (IRS, franchise tax board etc.)
5. Special projects as needed.

Internship

Qualification:

1. Working towards an undergraduate degree in accounting or related field.
2. Strong desire to learn about accounting and tax field and able to follow instructions.
3. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word.
